Matt Boitano

Matt Boitano is proud to join UC Davis as a lifelong fundraiser focused on philanthropy, innovation, and impact-focused partnerships. Over the last 10 years, he has built trusting relationships and raised philanthropic support at the six, seven and eight figure levels. His expertise spans a variety of issue areas, including education, health, workforce development, climate and criminal justice, serving at some of the most innovative organizations in the country, including Code For America, Dream.org, and The Just Trust. He has served as a member of P150, a collaborative of the world’s top philanthropy advisors, as well as an advisor to Village Capital’s Justice Tech program. He earned his B.A. in Politics (Magna Cum Laude and Highest Honors in the Major) from the University of California, Santa Cruz and lives in Sacramento with his wife and two kids.
